I am also known as- Woofy Bubbles…….my artname as a performance artist in the 70s and 80s……located in Philadelphia, where I attended the Philadelphia College of Art, graduating in 1967. I am a multimedia artist and became known for my inflatables as part of my modular investigation, Woofy Bubbles’ Wooworld, performing in different Art Museums, such as the Philadelphia Museum Of Art, the ICA, and contemporary alternative art venues. There is a Coleman-Powell video introduction currently available to view on U-Tube, made during that earlier time period. I also manufactured a handmade line of Wearable Art called Woowear, over a 30 year period……also a part of my modular art exploration, and workshops and University of the Arts classes. I was a professional painter in Philadelphia for many years, besides my living sculpture art theater and Artwear….before moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico where I continued with my Woofy Bubbles Woowear, till finally retiring to Oaxaca in 2005.

I must say that I don’t really have much of a sense of attending BCC , as my Alma mater, since I was a transfer student there for only a larger part of my senior year, but have memories of a few good friendships that I made during that time period, with whom I shared wonderful adventures exploring the greater Washington,DC metropolitan area and its treasures of Art Institutions , during an exceptionally exciting period of time in the Art World…..ie, Pop Art, etc!

So, thank you for contacting me, Ainsley, but please don’t include me in any of your reunion plans or yearbook development, although I appreciate your reaching out in an attempt to include me in your venture.

With best wishes and good luck with your project……
Cheers,
Chris
