David died in an automobile accident in Santa Fe, NM, in August 1982, not long after many of us saw him at the 20th Reunion. He lived in Manhattan, where he was an assistant professor of neurology at the New York University School of Medicine, chief of neurology service at the New York Veterans Administration Medical Center, and a research fellow in the department of pathology at the Harvard Medical School. He was survived by a son and daughter (as well as, at the time, his parents, two sisters and a brother).
