Carlton "Jimmy" Mills lived in Cascade, Virginia, where he died on Jan. 21, 2011. He had worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation for 35 years until his retirement. He was survived by his wife Patricia, daughter Dawn Mills, stepson Douglas Rogers, his sister Susan Adkins and his brother Ricky Mills.
