Since graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 1966, I have lived in the Washington area. In 1969 I married John Aldock (Blair 1960).

John and I moved in 1972 to a modern house in Glen Echo Heights, the same neighborhood where I lived while attending BCC. In 2006 we bought another modern house (we have a thing for leaky, flat roofs!) in Bethany Beach, Delaware, where we spend many summer weekends.

John and I have 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters. Our family always has enjoyed travel, going abroad every year. During October we visited Turkey and Sicily, London and Zurich. In 2013 we plan to go to Scandinavia, the Baltics, Poland, and Northern Spain.

During my professional life, I worked many rewarding years at Congressional Quarterly and at the Democratic National Committee. My historical cameo was testifying in the Watergate trial as the custodian of the burglarized file cabinet. Later, my few pages of testimony made its way to Woodacres Elementary School for "show and tell". These days I spend time exercising, gardening, and babysitting.
