Went to Clemson University after BCC. Graduated from the School of Architecture in 1968. Served out my Viet Nam obligation at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. Since 1971 have been an architect with several private firms and longer stints with the Veterans Administration and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). I specialized in bio-medical research and healthcare design. Retired in 2005 and relocated to Rehoboth Beach in 2010.

My wife, a Bethesda, native and I have 2 daughters nd a 2 year old grandson.
