He lived in Manteca, California, having retired from Unisys, where he worked as a computer architect for 40 years. He had two sons, Chad Ward, of Burnsville, MN, and Kit Ward, of Tracy, CA, also two granddaughters and two grandsons. He died on April 23, 2018.
